Preparations for the jubilee

Have started preparing for the jubilee ..... Steffi is being a coachman in the school Coronation so have had to make her a costume:

Finally for this week I have finished a cushion for Emily, to match her bedroom curtains that I made a few weeks ago (pic of those to follow)

Sewing room noticeboard

You can tell that I have far too much time on my hands as I have also made a notice board for my sewing room

I have also finally made a bedhead for our bedroom, something I said I would do when we finished the extension ... was that really 2 years ago !!

"Army pants"

Here they are ... the replacement for the pirate pants I made a couple of years ago ... "army pants".
Trying to get the kids to part with them to wash them is already difficult so I think they may well get worn to death !

Birthday present for Ben

and a birthday present for Ben ! ...

 at last a use for the army fleece in my cupboard, unfortunately the kids saw it so have also made 3 pairs of army pants for the party at the weekend !... will have to get a pic of the kids wearing them :-)

"Mug rugs"

Still only working part time so making the most of it ... this weeks creations are some "mug rugs" (a mat big enough for your cup of tea AND your cake) ..

Hart Sprint Triathlon

...and when I am not busy working, crafting or looking after the kids then I have been triathlon training for the Hart Sprint Triathlon (400m swim / 20km bike / 5km cross country run) .....which I finished in 1hr 29mins

Lynsey asked me to make an apron for her friend who has just started her own business .... and that got me thinking about how I could do a cake on the apron .... and my opsession with applique started :-)
